M I M I is een DJ en artiest gevestigd in Brussel. Ze werd geboren in Lusaka, Zambia in 1994 en kwam op jonge leeftijd aan in België. Ze is deel van het DJ-collectief Lait de Coco en ze deejayt ook voor Martha Da'ro.
De afgelopen 2 jaar speelde MIMI in de hotste clubs in België en het buitenland, inclusief gastmixen voor NTS Radio (VK), Red Light Radio (NL) en DJ-sets in Lausanne (CH), Köln (DE), Le Boulevard Fest (Marokko) ) en meest recentelijk op het Nyege Nyege Festival te Oeganda.
De inspiratie voor haar muziek vindt ze vooral in de natuur. Ze wendt haar Afro-Europese roots aan om een ​​uniek geluid te maken dat ze omschrijft als "Afrofuturistisch". MIMI staat bekend om haar veelzijdige sets. Een keer per maand kun je haar horen op The Word Radio. Verwacht u aan Softcore, Latino, Oriëntaals, Dance Electronic, PC Music en Hip-Hop.

M I M I is a DJ and artist based in Brussels. Born in Lusaka, Zambia in 1994, she arrived in Belgium at a young age. She's been active in the music scene with DJ collective Lait de Coco and as a DJ for Martha Da'ro.
Spending the past 2 years playing across the hottest clubs in Belgium and abroad, including  guest mixes for NTS Radio (UK), Red Light Radio (NL) and DJ sets in Lausanne (CH), Köln (DE), Le Boulevard Fest (Morocco) and most recently at Nyege Nyege Festival (Uganda). 
Nature is where she finds all  her inspiration and she uses her Afro-European roots to make a unique sound that she describes as "Afrofuturistic". Known for her versatile sets, MIMI will set the moods right for the crowds. Once a month you can catch her on The Word Radio for her monthly residency. Expect some Softcore, Latino, Oriental, Dance Electronic, PC Music and Hip-Hop.
